How do we pay for the movies we screen - the distributors’ costs, theater rental, shipping, promotion, and all the other expenses we incur? Largely through the generosity of individual Subscribers. In return for a one-time payment at the beginning of the year, Subscribers are admitted free to all 36 regular OFS screenings January through December 2010.

Beginning in 2010 OFS Sponsors will now be called Subscribers. We are now offering Subscriptions for Fall 2010. Each Fall Subscription costs $50. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Ojai Film Society depends on annual subscriptions for raising operational funds. In exchange for helping us with our cash flow, Subscribers get a dramatically reduced price for our Sunday afternoon films. Considering that general admission is $9, and seniors (65+) and full-time students pay $6, the savings can be substantial. But equally important is the knowledge that—through your support—you are contributing to the enrichment of your community.
